Journey with us from our beginnings as a discovery group, to the formation of Casting Christian Church, and ultimately to where God has led us today—small networks of community groups, committed to encouraging one another in love and spurring each other toward good works as we live out what it means to be the church.
Our Vision
Our Mission
To inspire and empower the body of believers to live out their faith authentically, embodying the biblical church in every aspect of their daily lives.
To lead people into a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ, cultivating an environment where God speaks to them through His Word, transforming lives from the inside out.
Our Values
Everybody Plays
We strive to actively live out our faith in Jesus, seeking opportunities to love others as He does. Rather than spectating, we engage, seeing people through God’s heart. Our goal is to equip every believer for service, embracing our call as disciple-makers, not consumers. Through Spirit-led leadership, we grow in character, learning to lead, make disciples, and plant churches—becoming more like Christ in the process.
Love without Limits
We follow and obey God out of love, not fear, grateful for His mercy and grace. Righteousness comes only through Jesus, and we cherish His presence, finding our deepest joy in Him. His love fulfills us now and forever. Because He first loved us, we love others without limits, striving to reflect His selfless love and draw people into a true relationship with Jesus. Our ultimate goal is to love as God loves.
Curiosity with Compassion
We strive to love like Jesus—choosing curiosity over judgment. We seek to know people deeply, ask meaningful questions, and engage in God’s Word to know Him better. Just as Jesus used questions to reveal Himself, we aim to draw closer to others and to Him.
God's Word is Our Truth
God’s Word is our foundation, guiding light, and ultimate truth. It reveals His character and directs our path. We will neither add to nor take away from it, nor accept interpretations without engaging it ourselves. Instead, we will feed on it as our source of life, strength, and wisdom.
Our Practices
Gather in Homes
We want believers sharing life together in small gatherings of 10-20 people, meeting in homes. These gatherings foster connection, support, prayer, and celebration. We call them communities, instead of churches, as the believers are the church, living out their faith and supporting one another.
Engage God's Word
We want every believer to spend time with God daily, engaging with His Word for themselves. True nourishment comes from personally connecting with Scripture, the living Word of God. Our Disciple's Journey focuses on hearing, engaging, and acting on God's guidance. As Romans says, "Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of God."
Build Authentic Communities
As living beings, we long for more than ourselves—a connection with God and a supportive community. The Mini Church Home Network fosters personal connections, where we encourage, love, and challenge each other in our faith. We share our stories, support one another through struggles, pray together in all seasons, and meet each other's needs, building strong, loving communities.
Immersing in Prayer
Every believer should spend time with God daily, with prayer as a cornerstone of their life. Prayer is essential to following Jesus. Paul urges us to pray without ceasing. This doesn’t mean constant formal gestures, but staying in constant connection with God through our hearts, words, and actions. Following Jesus’ model of prayer in Matthew 6, we aim to speak to God and listen in silence. We move when He calls us to act and remain still when He calls us to wait, trusting that prayer reveals His direction for our lives.
Intentional Gatherings
We want our walk with Jesus to be defined solely by the gospel. This simple truth can easily be diluted, but Jesus never drew people with anything but Himself. We aim to strip everything away, making the focus solely on Jesus Christ—His life, death, and resurrection—nothing else.
